1.     Total Wins

2.     Point Differential (total points scored minus total points allowed)

3.     Sudden Death Tiebreaker (if still tied)

 Sudden Death Tiebreaker Rules

If two teams remain tied after point differential, a sudden death playoff will determine advancement:

1.     A single tiebreaker game will be played.

2.     The game is played to 7 points, win by 1.

 Officiating & Scorekeeping

1.     This is a self-governed tournament.

2.     All matches will follow official rules established by USA Pickleball.

3.     Scores are kept by the players and self reported on a scorecard:

4.     There is one scorecard per match. At the end of each match, both participating teams must write down the score they agree upon. Each team must clearly designate which score corresponds with which team.

5.     Participants are responsible for clearly marking the scores and turning them in to the scorekeeping table.

6.     Scorecards must be turned in at the end of each match. You may not turn in all scorecards at the end of the tournament day.

7.     Errors in scorekeeping are the responsibility of the players. If a score has been reported that is inaccurate, both teams must confirm correct score with the tournament director. There will be no individual team score contesting.

 Code of Conduct & Disputes

1.     Players are responsible for making their own line calls and playing with integrity.

2.     All calls are final—there is no contesting of calls during matches.

Dispute Policy

1.     No disputes or appeals will be reviewed by tournament staff.

2.     Any player or team that argues, disputes, or behaves unsportsmanlike toward the tournament director, volunteers, or other players may be:

 Participant Responsibility & Waiver

1.     All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to participating.

2.     Participation in the tournament is at the individual’s own risk.

3.     It is the responsibility of each participant to understand their physical capabilities before competing.

 Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather on tournament day (Sunday, April 12), the following protocol will apply:

1.     Light Rain: Play will continue.

2.     Lightning: A 30-minute delay will be implemented. All games will be pushed to the next available half-hour time slot.
